    Boat shop in Mesa, AZ

So I was told today that Tige AZ is closing their doors at the end of this month and I really need to get my boat serviced. (I know I should do it myself but working on boats is not my strong point) So does anybody have any good recommendations on where I should take it for the service somewhere near Mesa?

    Thanks

Is there another inboard/vdrive dealer in the area that services the same engine as yours ie: merc, mp. pmc? go to them.

Sad to hear of another dealer going under, esepcially one with consistently good reviews on this site....We wish them the best of luck. I thought that the Arizona market was doing a little better than the rest of the nation?

Good luck with finding a place to service the boat.
      Be excellent to one another.

I am sure that there are many others that will service the boat the problems is I would like to take it somewhere that has a good reputation. I had always taken my boat to Tige AZ, Kevin was always a great help over there but he left the dealer a while back, and now the are closing their doors. Very disappointing, they always took really good care of me there and I would have never bought another boat from anyone but them. Best of luck Charlie!

That is very discouraging news. This is a great dealer that will be sorely missed. I hope to see them again soon in some capacity.

This is sad to hear. Tige AZ was top notch.

What type of service do you need done? If its simple service I can offer you some help or get you intouch with some very mechanically inclined Tige owners.

Your only options are Centruy Marine(Natiques), which I would not recommend. My friend has a SAN220 and is completely fed up with their service. Paradise(Malibu) is the other option and in my opinion they are very good at what they do.

I do just need a annual service, Tige AZ did the impeller last year so I should be good with that. I did talk to Mike from Tige AZ service and he said to take it to AZ Watersports, but I know nothing about them. Maybe I should just learn to do it myself.

Its always good to know how to change the impeller. Its even better to have a spare in your glove box along with the tools to change if you need to out on the water.

Reminds me I need to change mine.

talk to one or all of the mechanics before they shut down. maybe one might be starting up his own shop. pretty sure someone there would be glad to make a few $. i know i would be...

I heard the service guys from Tige Az were going to Az watersports and they would do Tige warranty work.

There also may be a mobile service started up with some of the people that have been involved with Tige Performance Boats.

Sad to hear this. I met them when I ran into Ben Pigeon with the new 09 RZ2 and rode in the boat with them. Great people and very service oriented. Best of luck to them and I hope it all works out.
