Also I beleive the key pad can control many relays and in turn connect and disconnect multiple batteries along with anything else you need it to do kinda like a control center for your boat.
I like the idea, but for me it's overkill. My keys are attached to a floating key chain that's always in the boat (stored covered under lock and key).

Seems like one more electrical thing that could get fried along the way...

      Cons

One more electrical item to break
      One more password to forget
One more place for a short to develop and drain your battery
Just because you can does not mean you should
      Keys work pretty darn well
Money could be used on gas or stereo equipment (or bling if you swing that way...)

      Pros

      Looks bitchen (actually, not really)
Start turning your Tige into a Nautique (is this really a good thing?)

I never had any problem using the key on my Tige, always left it in the boat.

My new Nautique now has the keyless ignition and I love it. Its only 4 numbers guys, use your birthday or something....

I assume that it was a stock Nautique feature vs. aftermarket. Was it an option or is it a standard feature? Any idea if option what its cost was?

Keyless operation is probably cool but with aftermarket cost to put on Tige I would rather use the money for an FAE or WS-420.

They are stock on the Limited or Team Edition Nautique. Thats the upgrade packages, they have a standard package also which is a base model boat and you can add onto that.

I do not know the cost on it, the buyers order just says included beside it. When you go with the Team Edition Package you get upgraded stereo, dash controls (Smart pad) racks, ballast, zero off, etc.

                  Ok Jake.

An original idea would be more impressive, good thing we haven't come to expect too much out of you.

                  btw;
"Why?" is neither "indiscrimitive" nor an "objection" moron. Do some homework on big words before you try to use them in a sentence, you'll sound smarter if used in their proper context.

                  need a little help?

                  Indiscriminate:
                  –adjective
                  1. not discriminating; lacking in care, judgment, selectivity, etc.: indiscriminate in one's friendships.
                  2. not discriminate; haphazard; thoughtless: indiscriminate slaughter.
                  3. not kept apart or divided; thrown together; jumbled: an indiscriminate combination of colors and styles.

                  objection:
                  –noun
                  1. a reason or argument offered in disagreement, opposition, refusal, or disapproval.
                  2. the act of objecting.
                  3. a ground or cause for objecting.
                  4. a feeling of disapproval, dislike, or disagreement.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

...as an additional aside, it's not "people that pose..." people are "who's" they're not inanimate objects. Use "people who pose..." next time.

                      Oh snap.

Why would someone post their idea here unless they want to hear people's pros and cons on the same........

English was my worst subject. It still is. A lot has to do with complete lack of typing skills but I still have to ask why?

I would rather stay with key ignition and add new or used FAE and Wet Sound Pro-60 Sox.

Money will be tight. $30k+ kick in the pocket book hurts like hell. Less money, fewer if any add ons. and fewer weekend trips toein at least. We may drivero my dads olace use the boat over the weekend and when we pull it park in his deive with old mooring cover to protect from sap, My bow and aft covers are good for when you store in garage or ar trailerin but not parked in sun

Well after all my bad posts, I learned a little about myself being too critical of others thru my expecations and complaints. Also you will get a lot more help if you also try to truly help others qutr bad mouthing everything.
