I am getting an onboard charger for a battery bank of 3 batteries and my starter battery (2 banks/ 4 batterys). I've been looking at the ProMariner ProSport recreational series and the ProTournament Proffesional grade series.
The Prosoprt 12 has 12 amps to 2 banks and the ProTournament 150 has 15 amps to 3 banks. The Protournament is $150 more. I can not find any appreciable difference in the descriptions of the charges except for the amps/banks and the outward appearance of the two.
Or for $189 the ProTournament 100 has 10 amps to 2 banks if that would be adequate....
My question is---is there a significant difference in the two lines? Is it worth another $150 to get the higher end model? Anybody have experience with either of these units????
