You can do a search on completed listings only...looks like no bids, so did not sell on ebay.

He isn't going to get that much for it unfortunately. The market is flooded with repo boats and deals on new boats. Sad but true.

Used, I could understand. But not a new boat.

I will say there's tons of buyers in this market right now. People just aren't willing to pay full price. For Instance I have a spec. house I'm about done with right now. I'm asking 2.4 mil for it, and I have jokers calling all the time about it. They'll ask what I'm asking for it, then throw me offers of 1 mil. and 1.5, etc. Just rediculous offers. I even had one guy offer me $800K, I laughed and just hung up on him. Keep in mind this house isn't even finished, so it hasn't even been sitting on the market like some. People are expecting to get new at used prices. They gotta get a reality check. That being said, there are some deals to be had on any type of luxury item. Including homes, boats, RV's, etc.
I think that experience is typical of the market for anything right now. In my area, more than 50% of the homes sold are foreclosures. 3 years ago, foreclosures were unheard of.
          Be excellent to one another.
