Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware)!
Before doing a group buy, I would recommend getting one and testing it against some of the U.S. brands. There can be a big variance in the LED lights and I have heard more than a few people complain about getting "junk" directly from some of the chinese sources.
FYI - the port of origin is SHENZHEN, CHINA
...sound familiar to anyone?Last edited by ImaPigDog; 03-20-2009, 05:26 PM.

Junk from China......no way, I don't believe it. :-)
I had a customer that I specified a small DC motor to use within a product I was designed for him and he was getting quotes of around 3 dollars for US manufactured stuff. He found them made in China for 22 cents each and was ecstatic. But I must say, about 50% of them had about 25% the torque they were supposed to . Bargain...well not exactly. There is so much stuff made there it is all not crap, but there is certainly no shortage of it there either. Mom always said...if it sounds too good to be true.........

IMO ONY! After looking at these i do have to say they look exactly like the bullet lines lights. As for US made ... you'll pay 2-3 times more right?! It's pretty hard to screw up leds and these are probably ok, for $77 ea it's probably worth a try but that's distributor cost it looks like as well."Call me anything you want ... Just a heads up Jake.
That first one you listed is the 720 lumen and usually goes for around $195.
The second you listed is the 400 lumen and it goes around $76.
The first one "is" bullets new model and the second, their old model. Ok ok, for Ken's sake, we'll say it's not EXACTLY the same
I've already got a deal going w/ a contact if anyone is interested.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

So let me ask this then ... and i'm just asking, no fight club here! But at $77 each, with a minimum of 50 pieces and let's just say a 15-20% possible failure rate they are how much then with the shipping (that won't be cheap)?
I'm guessing then that Ken's price of $139 he offered wasn't too bad? Again just asking?"Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

That's exactly my point above! Accounting for the fact that he'll have to eat some if he has a failure rate of any kind....his pricing isn't bad at ALL!!!!
My contact had a min. order of 10, with 8 lights already spoken for. I don't think shipping is that bad when your splitting it amongst a few people though.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
