        3.42 with the 6-speed trans or the 5 speed? The 6 speeds come with the 3.42's and that's fine plus you have a 2wd truck so they are little lighter.

        Nice truck! I'm glad you went with the work truck dash, so much nicer than the other one.

          It’s a 2008 they only have 6 speeds on 2009's

              You should be fine....

              make sure you put a trans cooler on if it I did not already come with one.

                I went out and got me a 2008 4 door Duramax to pull my RZ2... I was sick of going slow up the hills in my half ton chevy!
