The more manufacturers there are, the more competition they make, the smaller the margins and the lower our prices......... Having a plethora of makers only helps us ALL. I hope they all make it.

Except maybe MC, I hate these flatt-bill kids
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Looking at magazines, I have seen no Tige ads in the last few magazines we have received. Mastercraft still has their spot on the back cover along with the a few others throughout the mag. Malibu might have increased the amount of ads. Correct Craft is about the same, I did not noticed and increase or decline of ads for them. I dont recall seeing any Supra or moomba ads either.

What im saying is that the companies are all handling the economy in a different way. Mastercraft buit a big 30ft boat, Malibu is building Axis, some companies are laying off and shutting down. It seems to my that tige is cutting some costs, like advertising, and taking care of their current customer base.

I don't want any to fail either, I would just soon see the whole economy turn around and everyone doing great, but unfortunately that is not the direction the economy is going.

The ALLIANCE WAKE buyers guide has (3) Tige's Listed:

              24VE
              RZ2
              Z1

From the looks of it, it seems like every mfg has (3) boats listed except for Calabria, Epic & Sea-Doo.

I am sure it costs to be in Alliance, but they dont really have the tests that Wakeboarding Mag goes through that Tige didnt do this year.

Alliance just gives you a good idea of what boats are out there, along with all the new gear. Not a real comparison or really any helpful info besides size, weight, and things like that.

That's probably true of most of the manufacturers in this industry.

In todays market you have to wonder if the ROI for expensive print adds brings in business vs Outstanding Web content?

                      X2,

The money is far wiser spent on google ad words or the web site.

As far as who is going down... I don't know but I know Tige is the most debt free boat company out there. Highly leveraged companies have a lot more overhead that produces nothing. All companies have cut back on Pro's and "Promo boats" so we will see what that does to the tournament circuit. This will be an interesting year.
