      That would be a good idea in a perfect world. The problem is, how does the manufacture stay in business? When i worked at TWS, if Chris placed an order for 150 boats for the year, he had to commit to 50% of those during the off season. That's what keeps the plant open year round.

                        You are right, but the customer isn't always willing to wait when he wants a new boat. He wants it now. Some people plan ahead, some don't. The industry has to accomadate both.
