No, the foam was in pretty good shape. My vinyl guy just layered in some additional foam on the seat cushions in the back to fill in where they were indented from the seams. It's all smooth and contoured now. It really turned out nice. Check out my thread on my vinyl project: Replacing your vinyl

Mine were fine in an '02 until that one fat friend (everybody has ONE) walked all over the seats and now they're torn to shiiip. Having them redone this spring with no seams.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Out of all the problems I had, that one still gets me a little.
I am going to enjoy comming up with my own design and
getting over the "not so good" Tige design.

$40 installed is a great price!

I remember this subject from the winter 07-08 . I am staying far away from this one this time.

              Tige cushion/vinyl

Kona King, I have an '06 22V and the vinyl is shot. I had Tony at Wasatch Marine try and help me, but no luck with Tige. How are your board racks holding up?

When did you purchase it? There is a threee year warranty on the cushions.

I am the original owner and Tige warrantied the "bad" cushion once and then they would not do it again? Any recommendations on a new tower and board/surf racks. We no longer use the racks due to a near miss of someone head when one of the racks sheared off the hex screw with boards in the rack.

Post a picture of your board racks. There were some 2006 racks by WakeDesigns that were warrantiable because the screws that they put into them were not long enough.

Things that we could use to help us out to help you:
                        1) When did you purchase your boat?
                        2) Can you post a picture of the racks?

Afternoon can't wait, so here are the pix. This is a design flaw/hazard, so I think I will need to move on to a new tower. Any recommendations?

I have the same problem with my '04 vinyl, has anyone tried patching with a kit that used pieces of vinyl that matched their color and glued it in place? I am curious how it would look, how it would hold up, etx. It would be MUCH cheaper than replacing the vinyl. Just weighing my options...

Warranty the item. That is one of the problems that Tige had. Looks to be short screws that were used. Thanks for posting
