    Box anchor?

    Where is the cheapest place to buy a box anchor? Is there anything as good as the box anchor for less?

    I can ussually find used ones out in CA and AZ for around $100. Last weekend saw a guy selling 3 of them. PM me your zip code and I can find out shipping if you would like. I can look next time I am in Havasu for you

      the box anchor is awesome. I regret NOT buying one, I bought a different anchor for like $40 and it's nowhere near as good as my buddies box anchor.

                Most of the ones the guys have sold in havasu is due to they sold their boats or have had them repoed.

                              Buddy at work went scavenging along the shore at Folsom at its lowest. Came home with three anchors, one a box. All had bungees on them. You know, kid or wife unclips bungee from boat, oops -- anchor, bungee, and clip gone in 60 feet of murky water.
