    The metal retention pole sticks out of both sides on both the standard and extended bimini. But the extended is another foot or two back. On a turn to pick up a rider, the rope will slide along the top of the bimini and then get hooked behind the protruding retention pole.
    The rope will always get hung up somewhere. You need to assign someone rope duty...their job is to check the rope before the driver goes.

      Yeah. That was part of the issue ... Someone was on rope duty

      I kept my cool by submerging my head under the water and yelling bubbles before the boat came back for me. S'ok, I remind myself of the many bone headed things I have already done during my short tenure with the boat
