It will be nice this summer with everything fixed and can go to water and relax. Although, I picked up this wakeboard action at 45 and it's hard to relax after trying the tricks at my age.

Great news. A company who has built up a positive reputation for how well it services its customers comes through again.

Great job for me with my issues and now for jwsatdir. Ours are ones that got posted not because of Tige the manufacturer but because of other influences that they cannot completely control. In the end they did they right thing I am sure for a pot load of Tige owners.

If I lose my boat to the economy and job issue and by some course of luck have the ability to buy another while in my 50's I will do it again.Tige builds one heck of a great boat and I would do it again. Who knows what colors I would do a second time around

This is great news! I am glad that you will get resolve to your issue. Tige, thanks for stepping up and taking care of one of the family. There are so many success stories "you" are involved in - notably your taking Sean out still gives me chills to think about.

I do hope the dealer has some accountability.

I would like to add, that even though I was VERY vocal on this issue, I didn't doubt that Tige would do the right thing in the end. It always seemed like more of a dealer issue to me anyway. I just think, in this tough time, a little accountability was a good thing.

I still don't like the idea that threads are being deleted, though.
I agree on all counts. Very happy to hear that this worked out in the end.

Glad to hear things worked out for you. I suspect that there is even more to the story we don't know, but glad to see you could work out a resolution that made you a happy camper.
                Be excellent to one another.

I'd like to say that IMO, what was interpreted as Tige's lack of response, was Tige's lack of making a "knee-jerk" reaction. Way to much blame was placed on Tige by owners and non owners and not enough put on the dealer for letting it get this far. As I stated in the first thread, these kinds of postings never end well for anyone. The OP caught chit for being a new member and not posting up pics of the issues, Tige and the dealer got there good names drug through the mud............so, who benefited? No one The boat is getting taken care of like it should, not because of any bad press on this forum, but because that's the kinda company Tige is. I feel they just needed time to get all the info from those involved, and then make the correct decision and move forward in the right direction.

                    Glad to see this thread

They got chit for deleting a legitimate complaint, which was knee-jerk. I always said it sounded like a dealer issue, but they are still a TIGE dealer, and the buck still stops with Tige.

First off, I'm glad the issue is being addressed and Tigé is stepping up to a customer complaint. I agree deleting the post was a big mistake and I think the lesson was learned.

IMO, there is always two sides to every story. We will probably never hear the other side? I am still wondering how bad this damage really is? Is it something that the majority of us would think nothing about or even notice for that matter? There have not been any pictures for us to even form an opinion on whether it's a serious problem or not. I have this picture in my mind of big scratches in the gel-coat. Maybe the problem is so small you would need a microscope? I'm not saying it is one way or the other. I can't have an opinion for or against the dealer or our new TO comrade without any evidence either way.

TWS has been a Tigé dealer for 17 years and my dealer for 12 years. I have had nothing but great service from them. Their reputation is not perfect, but very strong in the boating industry. I'm glad it all worked out and it looks like everyone will win on this one. Amazing!

                          (1) Which I think proves Mike's point
                          (2) Why is it felt that it is up to "us" to have an opinion that "matters" at all?? That is the part I just don't get. This is an issue with a boat that is between the customer, the dealer and Tige isn't it?

I see zero purpose in slinging mud unnnecessarily. The good news is that in this and in all instances I've seen, Tige stepped up to the plate and took care of matters.
