    Advice on RZ2

I want to buy 2009 Tige RZ2. Any owner can give me the comments on this boat. BTW, I used to have 5 persons onboard, how to make a choice between RZ4 and RZ2. If i took RZ4 should i equiped with 400hp??
    Thank you for your advice..

if you only have 5 persons on board no need for the RZ4.....if you have more than 12 people, the RZ4 is alot more comfortable.

as for the 400hp, if you want to suck up more gas and pay more, go for it, the regular engine is plenty enough, esp with only 5 people......

ive put over 20 people (yes I know illegal, but it was a private lake) in my rz2 and have never had a problem with the 340 engine.

either way you wont be sorry, and your love the picklefork

I agree with dcsnowwake. I havn't had any issues with mine. From what I hear, the PCM engines that are in the current year model RZ2's are very reliable but we can't tell you more than that because the RZ2's that we have has the Marine Power engine in them.

I absolutely love my RZ4 for everything. But I am still having a hard time dialing in the wake.

We just bought one at the end of last year and so far we love it. It has plenty of room, if you only have about 5 people the RZ2 will be great. No need for the RZ4
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

I absolutely love my RZ2. It definately is comfortable with 4-6 adults with some additional kids in there.

I have been to the factory and I like what I see over there, so I am TIGE for LIFE.

I think you will be happy with the RZ2 compared to the RZ4. The RZ2 only holds 2 people less than the RZ4 and you are probably going to spend about $5k-$10k more for it. The million dollar question is... Is 2 more ppl worth the extra cash?? I would say no. I have a 24Ve and when I purchased it, I should have went with the 22Ve... I probably wouldn't have been in the situation I am with trying to sell the 24Ve in this horible economy.

But, as Jeffe stated, he is having a problem dialing it in. It's a little harder to dial in since a lot of the members on here do not have the RZ4 so he is trying to get it to his likings. However, if he would have had the RZ2, then there are plenty of people on here that have that model and could help him dial it in a lot faster.

Thank you for all of your advice.
As a beginner for RZ2, I think I am now confident on the boat. And i will search for what options I should take.

I learned that quickly...I find that the wake is so tempermental. I have 8 lead bags that I move around along with a custom ballast from TWS. The minutes someone gets up to grab a beer or shift positions its turns to ****.

how big is the V in the hull on the RZ4?? I can find out from my dealer but it sounds like the V in the hull is bigger than the 24Ve's...
