Explosion and fire in Bozeman, MT

I just wanted to pass this along to everyone. This morning, there was a large explosion and resulting fire in downtown Bozeman, Montana. The fire burned well into the afternoon. Almost an entire city block has been destroyed. At this time, one person is missing.

One of the members here, Kito, is a firefighter in Bozeman. I don't know if he was on duty this morning, but even if he wasn't, he may have been called in for such a big disaster. Here's hoping that Kito and all his coworkers are safe.

was just txting my buddy from bozo. he said that down town was perty messed up.. windows out everywhere and that when it happened perty much all of bozo could feel it.. but he does live right kinda by there

Hey guys, Just a quick update. Chit is really crazy in Bozeman. I had the day off and got call in just after the explosion this morning. The explosion leveled half of one city block. As of 10:45 the fire is still burning due to the gas company not be able to get the 6" gas main shut off. Its been a really long day and its going to be even longer night. They hope to have the gas off around 11:30pm then we are going to be transitioning into rescue and recovery mode. I will post some pictures maybe sometime on Friday when I get off. Thanks alot for all your thought and prays. Back to work for me. ~Kito
