There are a couple 2006's in Colorado for sale. One for $28k with factory tower, and one for $32k with a monster tower.

If you don't slalom, I would recommend a 20V instead, it will give you a better boarding and skating wake, along with a decent slalom wake.

Where do you live? If you live on the west coast, Capital Water Sports in Rancho Cordova is going out of business. They have a huge stock of 2007 and 2008 boats that need to go. They all have the lifetime hull warranty since they would be new...

      Example:

2007 RZ2 is going for $45k with trailer...

Man a 20i for 32? I would be willing to sell my 2006 20V for 35000 with 58 hours on it in a heartbeat, and its loaded

I love mine. It gets used for boarding and surfing 80-85% of the time. I won't touch a slalom ski, but have recieved many compliments on the ski wake. I would say it does its job VERY well for a multi-function boat. Also, it really doesn't take as much ballast as I thought it would to get the rampy wake goin...that taps system rules the world when it comes to boarding. HIGHLY recommended if you'll have beginners with you.

Like yourself i just made the transition from an I/O to inboard last year. and I think this tread that I started a couple weeks ago should help you out:

If all you do is board I would say go for the 20V or any V really. the 20i is a Ski boat first and foremost. but like yellow said it is also a multi-function boat. If you like to load the boat up with people an head out the seating of a V is much more friendly then the I too. Hope this helps out.
I'm going old school- I'm bring back the SKURFER!!!!!!

if you can afford it go for it it sounds like it would be a great boat like other owners said use the taps and dont need ballast

I have been considering selling my 2007 20V which is semi loaded with Sampson Tower and only 25 hours I cannot drop as far as dealers like CWS and their new boat pricing let alone the used boat pricing across the board
being in the dumper. And I thought I got a great deal in the late fall of 07.

Well as da.bell knows it is Time to Improvise, Overcome and adapt. I would be nice to actually use it for a season.
