Hey everybody i have a 2006 20V and the top lights on the tower have two that face forward and then three that face backwards, on the light switch you have have just two of them on or all five, when i have just the two on i have no problems but when i turn all five on then they flip the breaker after about a minute or two, has anyone else had this problem before and does anyone know what the problem could be, i am wondering if it has to small of wiring and they draw to much power when all of them are on but if that is the case then i would think all of them would do it because it was factory installed. I have had it at the dealer twice for it but they could never figure it out and now it is out of warranty so i will try to diagnose it myself.

Sounds like to0 small a breaker was installed. Just need to know what the watts of each light is and get it's current draw, X that by 5 and you will know what the current draw of all 5 is. Then look at the value of the breaker, it should be rated for greater then the total draw!Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Your best bet would be to wire in a relay to carry the load of the light and use the existing switch to control the relay. Still need to add circuit protection on the battery side of the relay as the breaker for the switch will be on the control (coil) side of the relay and not the 12V power side for the lights. It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
