Will do SPBFAN, plan is to hit a bunch of lakes this summer, both local and perhaps some up north.
Last update: had both calipers replaced with the updated UFB calipers, the type that use two bolts on to the axle. When I got to the shop on Friday they said the driver side caliper was also loose, they removed the single bolt by hand, not good. Anyway, trailer works good now, and it helps to have those brakes working while trying to stop.
Greg, sounds like a plan on putting out an 'all call' for local Tige owners when I go out on my maiden voyage. I'll be sure to have you all bring cameras and video cameras to capture me going around in left circles.....a little like NASCAR. Maybe we'll make it Lake Elsinore or Perris just to make sure that we can turn the boat both ways . Plan is to have you service it end of this month and perhaps we can start thinking about an April outting!
G-Money, my wheel didn't quite suffer that bad of a time but it did take a little beating. Luckily I caught it early and took care of it before it became what you just showed us, that was not a good day.
Also.....question for you all regarding batteries?? I was playing the stereo on battery '2' and when I cranked the volume it started cutting out. Is that an indicator that the battery is low/needs charging? I played it on battery '1' and it seemed to be fine (but I did not play the stereo/cd for that long). Also, when running on the water, do both batteries charge at the same time if selector is either set to position '1' or '2' on the Perko or does it have to be set to 'ALL.' I do have a battery charger at home that I can hook up to the batteries to and top off before I head out.
Stereo system is an Alpine, older model with cassette deck (need to install one that will has an I pod connection), with a Rockford Fosgate amplifier (something like Power 750 4 channel) with Alpine Type R speakers and individual tweeters, with a six CD Alpine player in the back. To me, no audiophile, it sounded really nice, especially when I played a CD. Just wondering what type of time can I expect off of one of the batteries while playing the stereo while floating/beached?
In the meatime, I'll keep searching. Thanks in advance for your input and advice.
