    DHM trailers

They are closed up. Two people from there are going to start up a new trailer company called California Trailer Works.

    FYI...

Crap, they made some very nice trailers. How did you hear about that?

Okay, did a search and they filed for Chapter 11.

        From the MalibuCrew site ...

        It went down to this
after cope mc went ch11, they had a ton of trailers 2 buy back
DHM said, we will, but show us that no boat or road use has been used on it

ello everybody. I just want to set things straight about DHM enterprises.

DHM ent. has gone bankrupt. The economy basically killed us, not enough business to match overhead...

BUT there is hope. I, Kevin Backovich, along with my business parter Steve Billingsley have started a new business from the ashes of DHM. California Trailer Works inc. is going to continue in the footsteps of DHM.

Both Steve and I have worked for DHM many years. Steve took care of ordering and managing the shop while I was the Service Manager and did all the new trailer design work. Between us we have 30+ years of boat trailer experience.

We have bought the equipment and inventory and started in a new location. We still manufacture custom trailers, sell parts, and service.

The website is down for now, but will be up in new form as fast as I can get it.

If you guys need something please let me know. All the old phone #'s are forwarded to the new ones.

        Thanks, Kevin

I don't how as they are all ready shut down, even their website is dead. The only way would be if either the new non-affiliated biz or whomever has accumulated the old DHM stock and will offer it for sale as such. Don't expect any gimme's or warrenty stuff though.

I can tell you this though, there is nothing special about a DHM trailer. I know this to be fact as i drove up to Sac, checked out their facility and bought all my new running gear for the Tigé trailer from them. Most or even all their later model trailers use running gear from Unique Functional Products (UFP) in San Marcos, CA. Their stuff can be had anywhere virtually.
