Here in the south west it is not recomended to use wax, it melts off and yellows,due to the heat. Stay with a good marine polish.Building memories one river trip at a timeComment

Here is what I do. I was told by Ed the TIGE factory manager when he was here in CA that he has not seen a Boat Gel-Coat as smooth as mine with the amount of use and age of my boat ever.
I use FLITZ POLISH 2 times a year. Once to winterize the boat and Once to De-winterize the boat and get it ready for summer. During the summer I will use the FLITZ polish if I get something that is hard to get off. It takes it right off. After every use at the lake the whole boat gets sprayed down with Boat Bright and completely wiped down. It really is not that much work.. Where can I pick up some FLITZ? Also, I'm using Exquisite on my interior. Should I put more of a protectant on it? Or will the Exquisite do the trick.
Thanks for the info everyone. I got the boat in October and want to do it right.
