Assuming this is the mastercraft airlift story, $10k if I remember right. I followed the story on mc teamtalk while it was happening. Mostly cause I always wondered what would happen if I really spaced it and let the boat get bottomed out during low tide and had to wait for two full tide cycles to get the boat out. I always wondered if the boat would be driveable or if it would have to be towed after sitting in the sand for 12-24 hours, I guess it would be driveable. I still don't know how he got that far on the mud bank without noticing. I realize the water went really low really fast, but I still don't get it.
That is absolutely crazy, that is the lake my cabin is on. Wow I know that sand bar, and it's super low. I would never launch my boat anywhere near that place.
Here is my pic. Yeah, yeah, not nearly as impressive as the chopper. And for the record, that is not mine on the highway. Looks strikingly similar though.
I know the helicpoter cost more but I can't believe you left me out
That's the way you lift the boat, those eyelets won't break
The boat on the Highway. That is why you use straps on the back of the boat to the trailer and I use a secondary on the front nose eye hook so if the nose strap gets old and week and decides to break I am covered with a back up. My friend think it is a waste so i am sending them this picture of why I do what I do.
