Anyone else have any issues with the chrome tige emblem on the back seat falling off in extreme heat? Any good suggestions to fixing the problem. Right now we just decided to take it off and leave it off.

Well, I have certainly had my share of thie issue. The new 2009's and I think the 2008's have a screw through them to make sure this doesn't happen. However, both the 2006 and 2007 models do not. So, what I have done was use Plumping Amazing Goop (http://www.plumbingworld.com/amazinggoop_compound.html) and then used masking tape to hold the emblem there for 24 hours to dry.
Good, luck. Just wish Tige used a stronger glue that could be removed but DO NOT use SuperGlu. You will need to take that plate off to remove the vinyl when the vinyl needs to be replaced in the future.

My concerns with Mighty Putty would be when you want to remove the emblem because you have to replace the vinyl seats. It doesn't seem like it will "release" easy.

I had this happed to both of my logo's/badges. The front and the rear. I tried reattaching with the existing foam tape on the back. I finally got tired of them falling off, so I took off the foam sticky backing cleaned the badge & the plate then applied several rows of double sided tape and reattached the badge. This past summer, no issues, stayed on all summer. I even tested them on warm days, tugging on them trying to pull them off, and they wouldn't pull off. So I suggest to use good 3M double sided tape.I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!
