Correct but based on Jake's eventual RZ4 purchase, this is the prop that needs to be purchased to allow what he wants to happen

For Jake, yes, but not Carter's.

How much better w/o ballast? I doubt I put ballast in the boat. Let the next owner take that on.

With all the color it might be hard to sell but it also may go quickly when all shiny. It will have well under 100 hours by then.

I bought a 537 as spare and I doubt I can exchange thru SPBfan!

Yep, I just didnt want carter, or anyone else, the think that the 1235 was the fix-all for their boat to, that's why I suggested to just call Acme direct for prop rec.

The prop that came with your boat is the best choice for you without ballast. Any other prop for you would be overkill. IMO

We like overkill but the 537 for you is what you need. I still run that on my RZ2 and 24Ve.

p.s.: I don't run ballast in my boats either. One day maybe but not yet.

Even with some ballast and peeps, the 537 will push strong in these boats, especially with the 340.

Well I have the HP and normally only have 5 peeps on my boat when it is my turn to burn fuel so staying same as stock prop should work out for me.

I pull mainly slalom skiers and sky-ski fanatics. My daughter can board as well as brother in law.

We also have about 230lbs in Labs and 20 for our hot dogs. I also keep a full array of tools in boat and on weekend trips my hydraulic jack so I guess with that weight we may be just at the 6 adult a kid equivalent load. With stock prop it had plenty of out of the hole and if the driver was not nuts we still had attached arms when slaloming. That little boat sure has some pull.

One thing I noticed is that the weight of the boat has varied by hundreds of pounds. At one point it showed on the Tige site and reviews that the 07 is 3700+ lbs. Anyone have an idea as to real weight.

1235 wouldn't be good for pulling skiers since it will add about 200-300 RPMS.

You would only need the 1235 if you were running more than 1500# of ballast.

"EVENTUALLY" we'll be going down to the keys as well. Eventually we're planning 2 trips a year. The Garmin 535 is perfect in the sense of screen size (to mount and fit on the RZ4 dash). Added with Vision G2 map option, you get cool stuff like the pictures below.

If I can just talk da.bell into coming down to the keys with us???

The lower keys are tuff to navigate by day and impossible by night. We want to max our wakeboard / fishing / cruising experience.

Here's a pict of the 535S and some pictures of the optional G2 vision card.

Forgot to add....Our "eventual" boat weights in at 4400lbs stock, but with all the add-ons from Wetsounds, I'll bet you it comes in close to 5000, then "eventaully" add ballast, kids, Dad, food, beverages, two water rafts, 3 boards, 3 wake skates, custom bimini, garmin, ice, towels, umbrella, eventually maybe da.bell will join us, so on and so on.....the damn thing will be well over 6500 lbs.

I'm wondering what 2500 watts of bass will do to the fish down in the keys? Do you think it will attract sharks or repel them?

I planned on calling Acme to find out what would be best for our set up. Does anyone have their phone number handy?

You'll have Greenpeace wondering what the Navy's up to now as whales go deaf, and the Navy wondering who's jamming their long range sonar/listening devices with Ted Nugent, P-Diddy, Aretha Franklin, Boy George, or whomever you're into. With an eventual boat you can do anything.
