JD Powers does not take into account that a FAE can be put onto the exhaust and they don't ask that question. So, the survey to start with is flawed.
Do you still have a copy of it? If you do, post it...might be interesting to see how they determined this.

I hope not... I don't need any more boats at this time. Two is one too many

The survey would not be flawed because they did not ask about after-market upgrades. They did stock to stock comparisons which would be accurate.
The more concerning part is the statistics. If Tige made 900 boats and survyed 32 owners then 3.6% of new owners were the representives speaking for the entire Tige population of new boats sold. Statistics 101 teaches to be a viable sample, representative of the population(900 new boats), the sample size (32 new boats in this instance) has to be a minimum of 5% to be statistical accurate and usable to make an inferrence on the population.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I love my boat, but based upon my experience.........................

I have friends with "Babeliners" and other so-called crappy boats who wonder why I have to spend so much $ repairing mine.

Actually, it's the difference between scientist and a marketing guy. The scientist will construct a survey to find some new insight and the marketing guy will manipulate the survey to prove his opinion.

I think it is time for us to start a boat rating company. That would be a lot of fun. We can fly around and try everyones boat and rate it. We could call it TO international boat ratings LLC or something. . Some of us could rate the mechanical components some the wake by using the wake and some the aesthetics. Probably the wifes.
