My girlfriend was driving 6 of us home from a nightclub at Planet Hollywood and as we were making a left onto I15S from Tropicana the back end slid to the right and then to the left when we hit the retaining wall of the entrance ramp pretty squarely on the right front framerail (where you see the tow hooks on the Z71 models). Really not that bad, but they don't want to fix it.

I dont mind having a partner on the boat and sharing it with him, but if I had to let him take my truck everytime he wanted to take the boat, i wouldnt ever let him use it. My truck is more like an extension of me and harder to part with even though the boat cost more. So I would get something that you can pull the boat with.

I bet it was a heard stopping momentPut your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Wow. I wrecked my 'Burb almost the exact same way. Getting onto I80w @ 89. Short ramp and lots of Semi traffic = HIT IT! I hit and was was doing 65 by the end of the ramp but a Semi decided that wasn't fast enough and drove right through me. He clipped my left rear and sent me shooting across both lanes into the center divider and bent the frame. Bye bye 'Burban. My point here is, I went Duramax and have never looked back. I don't miss that 'Burb AT ALL. That thing was slow, heavy and sloppy. This was no base model 'Burb either. 2500 w/ a brand new 454. Compared to that thing, the Duramax smokes it in every category. Drives fantastic, tows light years better, just as nice as any Escalade or Denali inside except for the wood trim, better fuel milage, way more power and the ability to throw whatever in the back.
I'm just sayin'. Have you at least driven one? You'll get your chance, smart guy.
