    American Ingenuity

Now tell me a company that can design build this machine in the 1920's cant get us out of this mess now if the government would just get out of the way. American ingenuity will pull us through. Let freedom reign.
A little bigger pontoons and this thing could go across the water also.

Now why would we let something so simple but yet more effective than anything else be released to the general public to use. Could you imagine how many school buses could benefit from that or many other things. Or better yet how many accidents of buses flipping over in the winter months because they his black ice on the road would be avoided. Any ways don't get me started on this stuff. I agree government get out of our way and don't forget the trial lawyers and judges that make is so hard for Americans to invent and create because of fear of loosing everything they own to one law suit because some goof ball did not have common sense and understand that there is risk in anything you do in life.

Does it come with that fine derby hat? I'll take 2 if so.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I particularly like the open chain drive, the rotating drums that double as steps, the whole idea that your safety is up to you. That's that attitude that got our folks through that last Depression.

I'll have to grab a picture, but in Soda Springs there's a pickup truck outfitted with snow cat tracks at each corner instead of wheels. Its used by the state snow survey teams I believe.

                  Two points, actually.

The first, Self Reliance. Most folks in that era got along without the federal government helping, and making it so expensive through regulations to build anything. I wonder if we'll all step up this time and if gov't will get out of the way.

The second, the general snow machine idea lived on. But instead of infinite track rotating drums, the truck I saw has tracks mounted at each wheel.
