I thought I'd give a report of our families annual trip to the Spokane boat show. I of course couldn't get enough of the acres of boats there. There were a few less dealers than last year but overall it was a great show with lots of bling to look at. I only wish the kids & wife had as much love, appreciation and stamina to survive 8 hours of boats.
North Idaho Motorsports was there to represent Tige. Kent was very gracious and talked with us for 45 minutes or so. He had a 2008 RZ4 clearance priced at $69,999 and a 2009 22ve.
The 2009 22ve.
We liked the mastercrafts but are still way out of our budget.
Then we saw the Malibus. Our best friends have a Bu and really enjoy it. Not sure on the LCD Screen though.
The Centurion was really interesting. The tower really makes an impression. Metcraft seems to be making everyones towers these days. I still think they rattle too much.
The Supras really have a nice boat. There were 3 supras at the show. I was really impressed with the large & aluminum supported bimini. A great place to throw those extra surfboards.
There were several Moombas there.
The Byerly badged Nautique was there. I'm still wondering why this boat costs as much as it does.
There are several boats that are masqurading as wakeboard boats. Throw a tower on an I/O or even a jet boat and call it a wakeboard boat?
But my next boat will probably be something like this. I've been drooling over a welded aluminum jet boat. I'm afraid it won't be this year but someday I'll be cruising up the Snake River chasing big king salmon.
That's my report. I know the Spokane boat show is the younger bastard child of the Seattle show but I look forward to it every February.
