    04 Tower stabilizer bars

    on the 04 22V the collapsable tower came unscrewed at one point on either side so that the tower could fold back. the two legs that then stick up in the air can then be removed so as to lower the profile of the boat and fit in lower garage doors. anyone know where to buy replacement stabilizer bars? i talked to the factory and they said the company that made them went bankrupt and can no longer be purchased. i had a fab shop build some but they are a bit ghetto.... any suggestions?

    Could you post a pic of your tower, I think that Tige offered to in 04 if I remember reading correctly, as well as many dealers had their own fav's in the aftermarket.

      ^^^ Agreed...

      There is a forum member on here that has a buddy that has a fabrication shop that has done some aluminum work.. You could obtain an "original" stabilizer bar and have a fabrication shop copy it exactly..

      Welcome to the site dublerup. Apparently you already know that there are a ton of people on here willing to help you out. Post a picture of your boat sometime. We all love pictures of the various boats and boat models...

            That's a Metcraft tower if that helps you. Same one I have....pos.

            Save up and replace the whole damn thing.
            Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

              I need a better picture. I do not think that is a Metcraft. There was another tower very similar. I believe Metcraft is still in business making the new Tige towers

                That was the "Factory" tower in 2004 not a Metcraft.

                      Ok, Metcraft sucks again and Tige is ok again. The pic in the "V-drive" section of UK based Tige's boat is the same tower. Mine does not have the crazy bends in the legs like that one above.
                      I'm blaming the poor picture quality for my confusion.
                      Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
