    Chaparral Xtreme.

Has any one seen this??? WTF??? I grew up riding behind a I/O and I do miss the reverse steering. but listen to some of the facts that they are say on this i.e. ALL inboard boats come with 8.1L engines??? Maybe in a 40ft Sea Ray but who said we have to compare apples to apples right. LOL
For me I bought an inboard because I love to waterski. I want to know how the ski wake is??? And when are we ever going to see a Chaparral be the OFFICAL tow boat of a Comp??? But of all thing HTF did they get Robert Soven on here? He's Phillips brother right?? VID2 listen to that chick about wakesurfing behind an I/O. She must be and idiot, check out the pic of one guy that did (I got the pic from Wake World). NO THANKS.
However I do like that transom, the big seat and Big swim deck to gear up would be nice.
Well what do you all think?? Is this the furture??

That picture of the hand has no authenticity of it being a wake surfing accident.

Supposedly it was a from sort of farm machine accident.

^^^ WW had the same argument with that hand picture. But, the fact is. You stick your hand into a prop, it's not going to come out the same way it went into the prop.

I like the rule from Howtowakesurf.com if you can see it prop then its probably not safe to surf behind.

THATS IT!! I"M SOLD. the ExtrEme goes a freakin' 5mph faster!!! Did anybody else notice in the reverse slalom course, the inboard driver turned AWAY from the bouys. Granted, our boats don't turn in reverse, but don't be an idiot on a movie screen about it.

They are taking chances showing that they can wake-surf behind a boat like that. I would never advertise that. If an attorney gets that add and someone gets hurt surfing and claims they saw it on the add I bet there is some sort of liability there.

Notice though that the whole shot on the inboard was actually faster. They buzzed right past that. I would like to think that I want a better whole shot.

Another thing. I do not know why you would want to go through the slalom course backward. I think forward would be a better way to go.

We do have to give them credit for steeling the RZ2 & 4 square bow. They did put Wetsounds on the boat and they must be the first manufacture to invent towers I am sure or they stole that one from somebody maybe it is an old Malibu tower. Anyways enough being sarcastic.

We put a tower on our first sea ray and called it a wakeboard boat. Then someone gave us a pull behind a Tige at lake powell and the sea ray was just no fun anymore. Went back to phoenix, bought a 20v, and put down riggers on the sea ray to use it for fishing. So I guess what im saying is make sure you have a spot for down riggers and an ugly stick just in case you get behind the real deal.

                      They will need these:

                      wakeboard boat fishing pole holders

                        That ain't no prop wound

Being a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and half of my training in hand, that is not a prop injury, it is an injury caused by a crushing force, hence from the wrist distally, the "waffle" type pattern, that combined with the pattern of soft tissue avulsion. There is circumferential degloving of the long and index finger that would again contradict a blow type force. Could be farm related, though, not an auger (live in oklahoma, so we see ALOT of auger injuries), also could be a factory worker, lots of different types of press machinery out there. Seen my fare share of prop injuries, most of lower extremities and trunks, very few hand injuries because it is difficult to "fall" into a prop.

I don't know much about boats, but I am fairly sharp in the traumatic wound field and that is no prop injury.

                        FYI for CYA:
I would recommend removing the picture due to the fact that it could be an unauthorized pic that is currently being used or used in a trial or lawsuit. I have seen many of nurses and staff fired and a few had suits pressed against them about taking unauthorized pics of funny or interesting wounds, even though they did not carry any type of identification.
The worst day of boating is still the better than the best day of work......, unless you bend your prop.

specialk, that picture has been on more websites than a whore has clients. In other words, it's been around a long, long time. Probably two years so far that I have seen and not on this site. ;02:
