Our New Ride

The test drive went well except for the fact that the Columbia river was fogged in and the visibility was horrible. The Avalanche performed much like our previous 06 22V. I filled the ballast and drove over our wakes plenty of times at various speeds to see how it took the jolt and it was super solid. I wasn't expecting it to do as well as the 22V but I must say it was about the same. The Black Scorpion 330 ran really strong and was actually a little quieter than the Vortec 340 I had. I plan on putting the stargazer in it since there is no perfect pass. We are completely stoked right now and have five camping trips planned in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Here are some photos. The last one is the surf wake with just two people sitting on the port side. I am going to need to add a little bit more weight to fine tune it.

Will be interesting what you think of it over a longer period of time compared to the 22V. The Marine Power engine in the 22V is probably the loudest on the market IMO but it has proven to me to be a very reliable engine.

This boat had a lot more stereo but the previous owner pulled it out before the repo man came a knockin. The head unit is a Sony and it has six Clarion speakers. It really sounds good. Maybe in the future I will add to it but for now it is going to work great. The best part about this C4 was the price being in the mid 20's.
