I'm looking to get a new tower for my 2001 21i and would like to buy one that mounts in the factory locations. New dimension towers is the only company I have found that uses the factory mounts. My question is does anyone have experience with these towers. http://newdimensiontowers.com/home.html

I have no experience with this company.
I think the idea is noble, but probably overrated. I would not buy a tower only because it fits in the same locations as the previous tower. Covering gel coat holes is something that any fiberglass guy can do very well and you will never know the new tower is not the first tower the boat has had. That can be done without it being more than a few hundred dollars. Buy the tower you think is best, not because it fits the right holes already in your boat.
The towers from NDT look just fine and may indeed be the best for your budget and taste, so by all means get it if that is what you like, but don't do it just for the sake of putting it in the same holes.Be excellent to one another.

New Dimension has been making towers for a long time and they are quite reputable. A buddy bought the Nautique Flight Control Tower Replica for his '98 Super Sport and not only is it an EXACT copy, it's actually made better i think. I woudn't hesitate at all buying their product. As i understand it they also make oem towers for many makes as well."Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

Right now I can't decide between the Pro X Fly High Tower http://www.fatsac.com/FlyHigh/FlyHighProducts.html and the new dimension tower. The Fly High tower will run me a little less money and I should still be able to mount it over the factory mounts. I think the new dimension tower will look better on the boat just because of the custom curves and the fly high might look tall on my boat. Also, the install will be much easier on the new dimension tower. Looking for opinions!!
Here is a pic of my current boat and tower

dog hit it on the point. How tall are the towers off the floor?? which ever one is higher is the one that I would go with. But By the way aren't you selling your boat?? I know I have seen it on Craigslist. And what are you doing with your old Bimini?? and old tower?? I might be interested.I'm going old school- I'm bring back the SKURFER!!!!!!

H2O,
I am the owner of the exact boat that you posted the pic of from the New Dimension Site. I bought the boat used in 2005 with the tower already installed. Let me say that I highly recommend these towers having owned this boat for 4 years. It is very solid considering the fact that I weigh about 250 and it pulls me without any problems. I also get compliments regularly when on the water about the custom look. With respect to tower height and clearance let me say that I have had several individuals on my boat who were around 6' 4" tall and they had no clearance issues. Finally, I would also like to say that I have had great experiences with New Dimension customer service. I seem to lose the light cover for the top of the tow point quite often and they have no problem getting me the part ASAP (I know this is a small issue, but it is my only dealing with ND because I have had no other problems.) Please let me know if you have any other questions.
