Lake Mcconaughy - Are the coves/bays skiable?

We are trying to make some plans for a boating trip, and my wife would like to go to Lake Mcconaughy this year. Last year we hit Glendo, but she'd like to stay at a nicer hotel. (She doesn't like to camp)

When looking at the map of Lake Mcconaughy, it doesn't look like there is a ton of coves to ski in, there are several areas that are marked as a bay, but I can't tell if they are big enough to ski in or not. I really don't want to spend my time on a large lake with choppy water, so I thought I'd post to see what everyone else thought of the lake. Personally, I think we should go back to Glendo. :-)

When I was there last year there weren't any coves to ski in. We were able to find plenty of decent water though.

No coves, but the lake is so huge that there is plenty of good water to ride. The lake itself is never crowded, just the shoreline.

Just don't load/unload your boat in the sand!!!

        Timmy/Diesel - Thanks

My wife would probably kill me if I loaded/unloaded in the sand. We use her car (expedition) to pull the boat.

I was out that way the first of September last year and I hate to say this but there was something of 300ft of beach. So all the bays are dried up. And what is that guy talking about the don't load/unload in the sand. I had no problems in my truck. He most drive a Ford. Yeah A trip to The Big Mac is out of the question for a couple more years.
I'm going old school- I'm bring back the SKURFER!!!!!!
