    Boat other than a Tige?

I am looking at used 05 and 06 Centurions and Moombas for sale.
There are some smoking deals out there for the 25 to 29ish range that has me really interested.
I just might pull the trigger since I have been without a boat for almost a year.

You can get an 05 22V for 29k'sh. Book on my 06Ve is low to mid 30's. May even look at an 06, may get a better rate and longer term if you want then on an 05.

Go sea trial a Moomba on a rough day and with the bimini deployed, nuff said.

I'm not a Tige owner YET, but working on it; here's my story.

I test drove a z1 this last summer, but at the time I was thinking I just couldn't spend that much on a boat, especially in MT; yet, we really liked this layout. Found a smoking deal on a new Centurion, so pulled the trigger.

Even though the Centurion has the same horsepower, and it pulls people just fine, it just doesn't seem to have the get-up-and-go out of the hole (when not pulling anyone) like the z1 does. I have the high alitude prop on it, and the only thing that I can think of is the...different hull design. I'm guessing the Centurion creates just a little more drag.

Looking back I should have test drove the Centurion, but I was thinking they both have the same horsepower, they have to drive / handle all the same...especially when spending that much on a boat!

Anyway, I'll make you a smoking deal (it really is for sale) on an 08 Centurion, w/ few hours, like almost low nada book.

Hay bob, if you don't mind me asking as I'm curious from a salesman's view, what Centurion, did you go with, was it the Falcon? Was it apples-2-apples (similarly equipped with options) to the Z1 but cheaper cheaper.

Fell free to reply in a PM if you want.

I paid $27k last year for a 2004 Switch V with 72 hours on it. I added a 2nd battery, tower speakers, 2 amps, bow speakers, sub, and depth finder all for under $500. The boat has everything except for built in ballasts, and perfect pass. I have purchased some Fat Sacks, and would like to add PP down the road. The guy I bought it from lived 400ish miles away. It was worth the search, and the drive. The boat is perfect for us.

With todays economy, there are probably better deals out there. If you really want a Tige, and are patient, and willing to drive a little ways, you will probably find the boat you really want.

Hey Chp, what's up with the Moomba/bimini thing? Just curious as i always have mine up and i don't notice anything out of the ordinary happening, at least nothing that the other brands including the Tigés are experiencing as well.
