Does anyone know a better air cleaner to put on my GM vortec than this ugly piece of crap. The black cover flops all over while running.

The ugly piece of crap is your USCG required Flame arrester, and it looks like the engine cowl (black cover) is missing the retainer screw. Leave the flame arrester and find the cowl retainer.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

KnN is making a USCG approved flame arrester/filter, but IMO, it's not worth the cost. Dirty air is not a real problem on the water Not sure what applications they have any way.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Just put the screw in and leave the cover on.. Shouldn't be in the engine area when out on the boat for the day anyways.
