FIC, thats a great idea. Maybe a tough one to gather all of that data though. One issue is when users sign up they skip the "Boat Profile" field or don't fill it out yet since they don't have a boat. In other words the forum would only show people who have filled that option out on the registration form. Also I don't think this should be mandatory. But I like where you are going with that one. Maybe expand somehow on the Model Specs section.



Oh ya! Forgot about that one! That will definitely be a feature in the new version.

It might help with demographics on who owns what, what area of the country and what options are popular there. As we provide feedback to Tige on what we're looking for it could help them make better decisions on what's important to us.

Tower Type (pick list w/ None/E Series/Z Series/Alpha/Custom)
Engine (pick list w/ Mercruiser/MP/PCM/Other)
Speed Control (picklist None/PP/Tige Speedset)
Ballast (pick list w/ None/Factory/Custom)
Trailer (whatever manufacturer they type in)
Swim Platform (Teak/Fiberglass/Other)
Engine HP (whatever they type in)
Boat Speakers (whatever type in)
Tower Speakers (whatever they type in)
H/U-Amplifiers (whatever they type in)
Shower (Yes/No)
Heater (Yes/No)

I know it's asking a lot, so I'd be happy with a few of those things if you couldn't get to them all. I think it's cool to know what everyone's got.

One thing that would be useful would be a parts list for commonly replaced items, such as steering wheels, alternators, impellers, impeller housings, belts, etc. along with either the engine or boats they were used on.

We can help contribute that if you can make our posts indexable so you could find it by boat type or engine type.

After four years of the initial launch of Tigeowners.com the time has finally come for a new and improved site. To start things off the update will include a re-design and updated content. Since Tigé values input from the owners we would also like to hear what you would like to see in this overhaul.

We have several new ideas but wanted to get your input as well so lets hear it.

What do you like about the site and what don't like you about it?

Ok guys, Tige and I have started the redesign and overhaul of the site. We have some good ideas thanks to your contributions to this thread. We are hopefully launching this sometime around March.
