    Shadow-Caster Underwater LED's Group Buy

There was some interested sparked in the Shadow-Caster Underwater LED's in this thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8462 . Thanks to Mtnsmith for introducing us to these sweet looking lights.

This is going to be a one-time introductory price only available to TO members. As a dealer, they will be available through me any time, but these low prices will not be offered again. For this reason, I'd like to keep this buy open for at least 4 weeks to allow as many as possible the opportunity to get in on this. I understand that we just got done with the holidays and the "toy" banks may be low If we are getting some interest and need to stretch it out a little longer I'd like to do that, if some one has to have yours now, please let me know through PM and we will try to work some thing out. I do want do do this as a true group buy as there will be a volume discount and that's part of why you wont see these prices again.

If you have questions, visit them at www.shadow-caster.com , or post up here or send me a PM.

Post up here that you are in and what model you want and how many. Please also send me a confirmation PM with what you want and your Zip so I can get you a final cost with shipping.

When we get close to closing this group buy, I will then collect funds and then place order. Please remember that the price will be based on quantity, so it will be near the end of the buy before we know what price schedule we will be in, so make your decision of the highest price.

    Colors:

    Aqua Green - SC-10-AG-(20=20' lead/50=50' lead)
    Bimini Blue - SC-10-BB-(20=20' lead/50=50' lead)
    Ultra Blue - SC-10-GW-(20=20' lead/50=50' lead)

They come in a 20' wire lead or 50' wire lead.

MSRP is $599 for the SC-10 with 20' lead, and $629 for the SC-10 with 50' lead.

Please don't take this question as offensive but why are these things so expensive? Does it actually cost that much to manufacture them? I thought the factory light option at $300 was just due to Tige wanting to make a few bucks but then these come out.

      A little Pricey

This looks like a great product, but they are a little pricey. I would need to buy 2(one for each side) and then still have to pay to get them installed, I'll be out $1500 before it's over with?

I cant comment as to the cost of manufacturing as I am only a dealer. Based on spec's and performance, these look to out perform any other underwater light on the market and are a surface mount as compared to a flush mount that requires a large hole to be drilled in the boat and the need to have access to the backside in order to install and tighten the jam nut. I can say without a doubt, the produce more light them my factory Halogen transom light with far less current draw and longer life expectancy. Based on my dealer cost, I'm offering the best price I can.

These are super easy to install, I would be glad to provide advice if you thought you might want to take it on yourself. I can even shoot some pictures of mine if anyone would like.

Same here, no disprespect meant but I was under the impression as well that these would be an affordable / less expensive option than the current offerings available.

What i'm seeing is they are more expensive than the Abyss & OceanLED brands by a considerable amount whom also offer flush mount thin transom lights now. Seriously, unless your running the ocean at night who needs the super bright transom led lights anyway? Most inland waterways have speed restictions that prevent you from really using these. The real bummer is red isn't even an option.

Sorry guys, i was holding off to support a TO member, guess i'll have to go with the BulletLines transom lights at $340 a pair.

                Good luck with them though.

None taken, there are less expensive options out there by all means, but nothing near the same light output for as low a price. The bullet lines lights are 360 lumens, the highest abyss are 1610 lumens for $547/ea, and the oceanled amphibians-12, not sure on the lumens, I know the amphibians 6 are not nearly as bright from seeing them at the boat show, but they are $799/ea. The output on the bimini blue, the blue I have is 2000 lumens. And you are right Razz, they do look good running out in the gulf on the way home after a day at the islands, especially this time of year with the clear turquoise water. I did egg them on about the red, they just couldn't find a red they liked, too much red spectrum is absorbed by the water.

No offense taken by me, I'm just a dealer trying to offer the best price I can.

I'm sure someone is getting setup with ken @ Bullet Lines as we speak, so there will probably be a group buy on those lights by the end of the week!

I think that group buy has come and gone. I remember a deal that he gave out to the WW crowd.

Are you referring to me? What do you mean, explain? Jake, I had Matt delete your last post you left in the Fly High thread basically saying you wouldn't trust me and I would probably run off with the money. Well I'll leave this one so the rest of the Forum can see what a real dumb@$$ D!ckhead you are. You have no intention on buying anything from me, which is fine, because I dont trust you, you would probably leave me holding the order. I dont understand why you feel the need to leave these kinds of posts, in every thread you post in, then logoff an not stay around when you get called out! In the future Jake, If I started the thread, just stay out, dont even read it and dont even post in so as to not waste both of ours time, thanks.

Sorry to disappoint Jake, but I have no need for any LED's.
