Not looking good (not that it has this year). Situation at Powell is dire and runoff is abysmal. The graph will continue to drop with a little mosquito bump representing the runoff for this year. Is going to look worse than last year.

Not good at all. They are closing the stateline ramp tomorrow and antelope is already closed. That leaves Wahweap which is already a goat rope... Not sure how long that ramp will be open for. The lake is still draining and doesn’t appear that it’ll rise at all this year... Crazy!

Heading down to Wawheap in a few weeks. Looks like I’m gonna need my patient hat. I can only imagine how long the lines will be at the ramp.

I watch the water level almost daily and it’s just sad. In decent water years it’s usually going up 6-12 inches a day at this time of year.

I was at Antelope point over the weekend doing some houseboat maintenance. The ramp was an amazing site.

I'm scheduled to be at Bullfrog starting June 3rd. The main ramp is closed, but the executive ramp is open for everyone. I have no idea what it's minimum safe level is. Just seems crazy that levels are not going up by now. Guess I'll be calling for updates the week of.

Maybe. I'm hoping to put in on Thursday night so maybe it wont be too bad then. Then we will leave Saturday early afternoon so maybe we will miss the high ramp times.

My bet is Saturday afternoons are going to be horrible. Back when water was this low, I remember waiting in line like our crazy boating brothers in California do all the time. It was 45 minutes just to get down to the water's edge.

                      At least it’s something:

Declining levels at the second-largest reservoir in the U.S. have spurred officials in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico to search for ways to prop it up.

How low can the lake get before there becomes a problem with floating docks, restaurants, and such?

We canceled our trip to Powell that was coming up. Not so much because of water level, but scheduling conflicts. Not sure we'll make it to Powell now this season.

Flaming Gorge always seemed to me to be a huge reservior, but its full capacity is around 4 million acre feet. It is the largest reservior above Lake Powell. Lake powell has a capacity of around 24 million acre feet. So even if we emptied all of the reserviors above LP, it won't make all that difference.

Just saw that Dangling Rope is currently closed bc of an issue with the dock.

We have positive movement in lake levels. This will be short-lived.

An increase of .03 feet! Normally this time of year the lake is going up 6-12 inches a day. So wild to see such a little blip on the charts. Sad times.
