Those going out on Fri, where will you guys launch from?
*EDIT* Ok, looking at a Mead map, it was overton beach that we launched from 1st year, but they had no H2o the next, so we launched from Echo Bay. I should be good to go now. Since I'll be someones boat-biatch , I wanna make sure I go to the correct marine!Last edited by chpthril; 09-10-2009, 05:52 PM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

My boat has room for a biatch and I will be at Echo Fri morning. Looks like there will be 3 of us plus yourself and whoever else wants to jump in Fri morning. I plan on setting up the shade tent that morning along with the camping gear to allow for more water time and relaxing that evening. I'm sure as long as the weather cooperates, we will have a great day of boating with more boats showing up as the day goes on! Can't wait to fill the air with sweet tunes and high flying boards!

Evil, Bad05, Dan,
Have any of you been to the same cove we were at the last two years? Matt from the boat shop is worried that it might be too small with the shrinking water levels. I cannot make it down this weekend to see, but maybe next.
I am confident a cove nearby will work, but thought I would see if anyone has been there recently.Be excellent to one another.

Larry, John and I are planning to head out next weekend to scout out the exact spot. We'll keep you updated.

Like Dan said, we are heading out there next weekend and will scout the area and give the proposed location for the event. I will try and be one of the first on the water that Fri and will set my stuff up that morning to "hold" the beach so it doesn't get taken. I'm thinking the larger cove to the south of last years location would be good, but the changing water levels might have different plans for us. Time will tell!

I loved the shore at that cove where the floating toilet is just south of the previous cove. The only reason we did not go there before is that the water was very shallow, and was about 2 feet deep at least 25 feet from shore. With the water going down, then that should be a big flat spot of nice sand, and hopefully the water level is right where it starts to drop a little faster.Last edited by talltigeguy; 09-11-2009, 03:47 PM.Be excellent to one another.
