No tige in Wakeboarding mag 09 shootout?!?

Wtf? There is not a single tige in the shootout. Is there no money for marketing?

Yep, that is the only sign of a Tigé in waterski mag's boat buyers guide.

Yeah, I was shocked by that too, I wonder what happened? Especially with the bad a$$ lineup for 2009!

If I had to guess, they are looking at different ways to market their boats. I doubt that magazine articles sell a lot of boats. If you look at what they're doing with the website, they're clearly looking at alternate mediums to spread the word about their boats. If it were me, I would do that.

I just went through my wb mag buyers guide and was surprised as well. If companies like Gekko, Epic, and Calabria made a showing in the buyers guide why can't tige. I realize there is much more to it than that, but I really expected to atleast see a z1, rz2, and rz4. I guess Supreme did not have any boats in there either, but I'm still disappointed to not see any representation from our beloved friends at Tige. Hopefully someone...maybe Tony, will be able to respond to these posts and let us know what's up? I totally believe that owners are the best advertising, I try to sell the brand every time I'm out practically. Maybe they should put us on commission

I suspect Tige is conserving cash and not taking on expenditures that have little direct return on investment.

I think you may also not see them at smaller boat shows this year

This does not mean they are in trouble but like many other small organizations of relatively small size they need to watch expenses until sales return. If they don't watch expenses now, they might not be around 2 years from now.
