I do not have horns but they are just coaxial speakers that can handle up to 250 rms watts.. I only have 175 rms watts going to them right now. They can definitely be heard over my Marine Power engine without a FAE at 80 feet.

Set of Wet Sounds Pro80's on a 20V
Pro Wet Sounds 60's on a 20V
My factory setup - 4 Kickers powered by a Kicker ZX650.4 When properly amp'd, a quality set of traditional cone style drivers can be heard.
Pair of Wet Sounds 485's on an RZ2 Z tower
Best bang for the buck = Kicker KTM6's on a 20V recieving about 175W's RMS
Although I haven't heard these personally, take a look at the Bazooka Tower speaker line up http://www.sasbazooka.com/products/marine/Tubbies-C18Last edited by chpthril; 12-22-2008, 05:50 PM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

NVS Tyrants on my old boat with 500 Watts going to each pod via a PPI PCX4125. Now you are talking loud and clear!
I still don't know what to do with them. The new owner did not want them, so I have them boxed up in the garage. MC has their own tower mounts, so I am not sure what I am going to do with them. They might be difficult or awkward to get on the new boat's tower. Either way, I will wait until spring to unload them or unload the MC speakers.
If it would fit, I would unload the MC tower and get a Z tower...would be the strangest looking MC on the block, but oh well. I heard Tige is no longer making the Z tower.Be excellent to one another.

When I upgraded my tower, I was thinking of going with WetSounds, but Samson sold me on his Double 7s with quick disconnect. They sound amazing, take 200w/ch @ 2ohms and rotate easily 360 deg each. They also quickly and easily disconnect to make lowering the tower a snap, and also for piece of mind those few times you park your boat in a motel/hotel parking lot.
This gives you a pretty good look at how they are mounted and the integrated light setup.
This image you can see what they look like disconnected.
And just one of my favorite OTW shots.
