    Fire At Halls Crossing Marina

Our boat is on G dock. The fire was on F Dock so I am told. Here is a link
to the information for those of you who boat at Lake Powell out of Halls.

Sounds like no one was injured but lots of damage. I am going down on 12/26
to look at the damage first hand.

Praying that your boat is okay and still floating. It will be interesting to to see what the Fed's come up with regarding how it was started. The economy is bad enough that there are people here in CA that will dump their boats in bodies of water because they can't afford it anymore and they want the insurance company to cover the costs of the boat. I hope that this fires does not have the same outcome.

This happened at a resort down on Tablerock Lake about 4 or so years back. It was a cruddy rainy day and many of the guests went to Bronson or other attractions to find out that the dock went up due to a bad blower or so we heard.

We did go by the cove later that day and saw a torched dock with about 10-15 boats damaged by fire. There were a few boats that they were able to untie and get them floated away from the dock before they got damaged. If I remember correctly it was a covered steel dock with wooden walkways. The story we heard from our resort owner is a guy was having problems and was futzing with trying to get his I/O running when it went up.

                AirJorgy,
What is the name of your boat on G dock?
We are also on G and so is my brother inlaw and his cousin.

The name of our boat is "Steal N Time".

We are at the end of G dock across from Reflections houseboat.
It is a brand new (2008) Sunstar houseboat.

This boat replaced "Ceste Lie Vie" which was sold in late 2007. The
main owners of CLV are now the primary owners in Steal N Time.

Stop on in and grab a beer anytime with us. We have a great
                  group of owners.

                    Small world.
You guys have a nice boat.I was able to see it in July when Darin was down. When did you you guys decide to call it Steal n Time? It was "A Boat With No Name" when I saw it.
Reflections is my brother in-law's boat.
We are on Desert Sunrise down on the other end of G.

Be sure and give us a damage report when you go down.
                    It sure is sad.

I called Hall's and they would not say much due to the investigation.

Look forward to a beer w/ you guys.
