    Wakeboard DVD's

It seems like the main instructional DVDs out now are, The Book and Detention 2012. I'm wondering how those compare with Higher Education. If you have seen Higher Education and one of the other two, could you please compare the quality and detail of the videos.
    Thanks

Out of the three, I have only seen Detention 2012. It is very good, and very easy to follow. With Shawn Murray, he is really goofy so you don't get bored to tears watching it. The way he relates things is very good as well. There is a ton of knowledge on that DVD, I would recomend it and have to several of my friends.
How can I be racist when all of my assault rifles are black?

I have both Higher Education and Detention 2012. The new detention is great. Murray explains it pretty good and then all the camera angles are better for learning

I have both Higher Education and The Book, I prefer The Book. Having said that I have an extra set of "The Book" (see pic) that I'd sell for $50 shipped and throw in the Higher Education DVD also. You can contact me a kshupe@cox.net

I know you wanted direct comparisons, but since there are probably very few out there, I will give my 2 cents.

I have the old Detention and The book. The old Detention is very good for those who are just recreationally looking to ride. I put it on my Ipod and when helping people get up for the first time, I have them watch the section on getting up and then thrown them in the lake with a board and rope and it really helps.

The Book is a serious rider's video. It has actual drills to practice to get better at progressing and learning. It makes sense that in every sport there are drills that focus on one aspect of the sport until it is perfected. Wakeboarding is no different. The challenge is that wakeboarding is so fun, I can't stand to take the extra time to do the drills. If I went several times a week, though I would start doing them for sure.
          Be excellent to one another.

Thanks Tall. In researching these videos I saw clips of some of the drills you mentioned. I tried one of them last summer and it really helped along with just giving me something else to try on the water.
