Nah, 100 lb's of lead for fine tuning wont sink a boat. Great video about what the difference is between lead and water in your boat. It's a cheap demonstration but very valid!
I however agree with CHP, that 100 pounds (like what I have) isn't going to hurt the boat one bit.
