    Axis Wake

Here is the first real up close look at the new Axis boat

My judgement will all come based upon its usibility and wake production, which we have yet to see. There are styling features I don't like about it (windshield) but if I was wanting a new boat that performed well and produced a nice wake I definately think this would be the front runner.

    I spy..... SNAP OUT CARPET!

    Well its definately.... different

I agree, i dont really care for the windshield.

I am sure it will be okay and all the people that are questioning things will like it in the long run. But, it is definitely different than anything out there right now.

The windshield is definitely non-traditional, would have to grow on me. It looks like it would be windy like riding in a convertible with the windows down.

I'll bet it hits the market @ a higher price then hoped, but it will still be bad timing no matter the cost. I'm afraid that the very consumer that this is targeting, has been hit the hardest by the economy

Someone had stated that this was Malibu's way of introducing a pickle-fork boat with out the Bu name catching the heat for "copying"

Also a few other things, "borrowed" could be snap out carpet (MC), Playpen bow (SC) 50/50 rear hatch, (tige)..

With that rear bench pulling forward???

I remember seeing that in a Supra quite a few years ago.

Windshield looks very 16' Bayliner. Tower is awful. Stern looks like a Revo. Other than that it looks OK. I'm sure it will have a real nice wake for wakeboarding. If the surf wake is anything like the rest of the Malibu line, I'll pass.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I doubt Bu would create an entirely new company with a different target market just to introduce a pickle fork. Why not just create a new model instead of the Wakesetter.

Yes, rear forward bench flops and becomes rear-facing bench. I think it is/was offered on the 22/24 ft Supras. Neat concept except for one huge reason IMO, it blocks the driver in!!!! I dont like that from a safety standpoint. I feel the need to be able to get out of my seat in a moments notice with out climbing over seats/passengers to get to the back of the boat for an emergency. As the driver, I need to be in control.

Testing the waters for a model year maybe, then do a Bu version of it. People really do like the open bow/deck-boat room of the pickle.

One of the only things I missed about the RZ4 and will envy about Tall's new boat.

Come on guys... speak your true feelings. Different is being kind.

I just absolutely do not like a single thing about this boat. I did not find a single thing I could even compliment, and I usually can always find something on every boat. This looks like a Pickle Fork boat and an epic mated and then aborted the fetus, leaving this as the aftermath, and I can't stand the Epic...lol.

I'm sure someone will buy it somewhere...lol. Apparently you like it turbonine ... so there are a few of you out there.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

It is a boat. That is for sure. I want to see it on the water before I form an opinion
