Honestly, how big of a lake do you need to run it for an hour and make sure its up to snub?

That is the Fineline test lake.

You most certainly are not going to put the Hull or steering system through a serious test. Especially when you are going between your own wake all the time. So you get a good smooth test. What about rough water and actually banging the boat around a bit to make sure everything is solid and will stay in place?

Tige has a lake that get f'ed up.. There are pictures around here somewhere.... White-caps and probably 2-3 foot swells. But I could miss judging the pictures also.

Both manufacturers do longer - term testing at another lake nearby.

Their puddles allow them to test basic functionality, seals, vibrations, etc as part of the assembly line processing.

Not it. Malibu is South, just about 200 yards away. Plus, wouldn't Malibu have their on steet name. 1 Malibu Ct, Merced, CA.

Malibu's test lake is even smaller. But what is included in a major test? My RZ4 floated, thats about it, and it had a rigorous one hour water test.
