Nicely done Tony!!!!!!!Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Being a person who made the "Brand" switch from CC to Tige' I based the move on several things but the 3 key elements were:
#1 the passion for Tige' and service commitment from the dealer "FIC" (@ one time there was no bigger CC fan on the planet than Dom but look @ what he chose to carry as his 1st brand)
#2 seeing how FIC's boat held up from the abuse given to it by our ski team
#3 the best fuel economy over all the other brands.
I wanted to ask a question since I am new to this site and until today never bothered going to WW:
Question: Why is it no one seems to bring up the fact that Tige out performs every other brand when it comes to fuel economy when they get into these skirmishes? Maybe it is not that big of a deal now that gas is back under $2.00 a gallon but it sure will help when the prices start going back up.
After going to WW today and reading all that BS I have to say that even though my 1st experience here on this board and w/ Tige was a little shaky I am extremely happy that I did not start off on WW. I cannot even imagine what that would have been like.
If they can say nothing else on WW they have to admit that the Tige' group tries to treat everybody with respect. Which when most of them grow up will eventually realize they will get a lot farther with their point when the treat the other party with a little respect

Why Tige does not push the fuel efficiency angle more is probably because it is a non-issue. Maybe for a few people it is a deal breaker, but not for the vast majority of towboat owners.
I am not 100% sure it is true either. When comparing apples to apples. I know that my 24V was more fuel efficient than my buddy's 247 Bu, but he has a 400 HP engine and I had a 340 HP engine. He also wakeboarded with a wedge and ballast and his wake was bigger.
The ski magazines published some data a little while back, but I am skeptical, since they made every boat sound like the second coming of Barack Obama.
It cracks me up that we spend 60K on a boat and then gripe that the fuel costs too much.
I also think guys are full of crap when they say a bigger engine is going to be more fuel efficient because it won't have to work as hard. I will probably prove that first hand this summer with my 8.1L engine.Be excellent to one another.

(Don't ask about the fuel gauge issue, it's strictly self-inflicted).Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

.
1) whiners
2) people that think they know EVERYTHING. Willing to bash others with no remorse (Wetsounds, Bullet Lines, Tige, and Ronix have received this treatement like this from what I have seen over the last 2 years)
3) people that say they are advanced/intermediate rides only to be beginners/intermediate riders
4) Surfdad
5) If you don't own an X-Star, have lots of hot chicks on your boat, and have current top of the line gear, you are frowned upon (IMO).

Why is is on WW, the ones with the strong(negative) opinions never diclose who they really are, i.e. The Truth. The never use any real names and they never have a picture in there profile. I think these guys are just lame hiding behind their anonymity of the net.
I have never really signed off on the whole gas consumption point. I don't think it plays that big of a role in which boat is better. GPH more directly relates to ballast than anything else. Even in extreme cases, burning 2 extra GPH over a 100 hour season. That amount isn't going to affect my decision on a $70,000 boat.
