I cant find waterski magazine... have tried several top chain booksellers (Borders/Barnes and Noble) and none of them carry it. perhaps that is why?

I get mine from a subscription. i realy do enjoy the mag.
just joking about the advertising, I see Tige ads. all the time!

The Boat Buyers Guide edition is the January/February edition that comes out in January? Has someone already received their issue??????? Tige has been all over every issue - I would be surprised if they are not all over the 2009 issue as well?????

Their (WaterSki mag) web site has the 2009 virtual test drives up but no Tige' entry as of today.

I wonder if they just have not done them yet or if Tige’ decided to forego since the tests do not really get into any negatives for fear of a brand dropping their advertising dollars.

I would also guess it is not cheap to put up the boats and dollars for the testing. Maybe Tige' decided their money was better spent elsewhere.

Tige may not be getting print space in WaterSki Mag but it is all over the pages in the latest Barts Web pages.

I think that the manufacturer has to pay to have their boats shown. The issue is just a big advertisement anyway. I'd be curious to know how much the "buyers guide" contributes to sales. With sites like tigeowners there is a lot more good info available.

if you go to tigeowners (this site) and click on model specs, there is nothing for-2008 or 2009 and no pdf files for 2007.

I got the mag the other day - first thing I noticed, no Tige's! You gotta be kidding. They have Calabria, Gekko even 4 Moomba's. What's up? Economy got Tige cutting back???

In the past few years, I've read more and more comments about the rag being more like an advertisement then an unbiased test/description about the boats. Maybe the return on investment is no longer there

I'm not surprised with this cutback. Tige has gone through two rounds of layoffs this year. First one was in March and the other more recent in November.

and then there is the rumor of shutting the plant down for a month. Maybe this ads to it????????
