More Snow Day, and New Camera

Coming down in UT. Our 4 yr old starts ski lessons at DeerValley the first of the year. We are skier first and everything else is secondary in our recreation time.

Wow, I just bought it a little over a week ago, now its $40 cheaper. I am using the ACTION-HD, not the A-HD.

Well, I went to get one of these today for the wife for Christmas and the $139 price is on-line only. In store price is $179.

There is a new version that just came out, 229 at amazon. I would recommend it. The ONLY difference I see is that the new one has gyroscopic stabilization, which is MUCH better than digital stabilization. This is the real only negative I have on the ACTION-HD, tough to keep stable.

Mine should be here on the 23rd, I will let you know how much better it is. If this does stable 720p60, it will probably be on the boat with us all summer taking vid of surfing.

Sony looks like it came out with anew camera for this kind of thing called the Webbie HD. $200
