Awesome pics and great discussion. My wife and I try to take it easy at Christmas, focusing on the reason for the season. Like our kids only get 3 gifts from us, after all if it was good enough for Jesus, it's plenty for our kids.

But at this time of year, my 2 kids are just more stressed and more easily agitated, grumpy, and get on eachother more than normal. I believe they are excited about getting out of school and Christmas. Doesn't mean that I lower our expectations, but we at least try to be more sensitive and pro-active in being positive. Exercise is key for my son, not so much for my daughter.

With two boys I think that is a great way RAGBOY to get it out of them. We have thought about putting them in the same room together if they don't start to get along and giving the foster babies the others room. I think I am going to try the running thing with them. I like the idea of holding hands also. That is a great way to get them to not fight.

it's all about how you raise your kids and being consistant. I don't have kids, but I have dogs, when I'm home they are great, but when It's just Carley they know they can get away with murder!! I was the same way at home, I knew what I could get away with and what I couldn't. My dad still believed in spankings, and well, lets just say I couldn't sit lots of days, ha ha ha. I learned and look back and don't regret it. Now adays though you get in trouble for that stuff, so the exercise is a great idea. I'll keep that in mind for when ever I have kids

Ok, we'll check back with you when you have kids

We can all look back to when we grew up, but society as a whole has changed, so it's not really like that today, regardless of how you raise your kids because you can't do it in isolation. I've learned that when you deal with it day to day, you can get caught up in the moment and things always seem worse than they really are. My two boys do fight, but most of the time they are best friends and when the chips are down, they stick up for each other. That bond will never be broken. Sometimes you just need to separate them for a couple of days and then they realize they miss each other.
