So I pulled my prop and just like I suspected its a 14-18.5.Ive been looking around and new props seem a little high so my question is whats a fare price for a new prop?I was thinking about a 13.5-14.25 .105.

X 2. he is an acme dealer.

I think most list price for Acme props is around $450. Most go a little under that, but not a lot.
        Be excellent to one another.

He doesn't have a physical store if you are asking that. He does have an online store and will give you a great price on one.

When I bought my spare prop, SPBfan came up with the best price. I PM'd him the best # I could find and he topped it and made it worth my time and hopefully his. The size I have was below $500. I also bought prop puler and Acme case cause that sucker is sharp.

good luck. He is great to work with/

                      Most refurbs are 14-18-.150 LH
If someone had a refurbed 13.5 14.25 or even a 14-14 I would buy it.

Watch Ebay or WW, from time to time one will pop up used for around 200-250$ generally.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I would never buy a ACME prop used. There is so many ways to get screwed doing that. Now if you have a prop that you have had repaired by the right person then that is different. But you never know if the person you are buying the prop from had it repaired by the right person.

What we need is the HP rating of his engine?

                              What engine does he have?

What transmission and Gear ratio is on the boat?

What is his WOT RPM on the engine now with the prop he has?

Last question what altitude does he run at and what does he want to do with the boat?

Once we get those items we can spec out a prop that will fit all his needs.
