None of the pro riders use fins........

With that being said, it is going to take some time to learn how to get a good cut with out the fins on but it will only help you in the end.

I have already taken the extended fin's off my new board.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

I'm a big fan of the transcend. Never felt a softer landing than on that board.

          So true.

I came up short on one of my jumps and landed on the peak of the wake, normally the bottom of my feet are screaming from that. but not with the new Transcend.

I noticed it in my shins as I didn't get vibrations sent through my legs on a hard landing. If I was buying a board this year, that would probably be it. That being said, I've been told there's a new Ronix that lands nice and soft too. G, did it take a little getting used to on that Transcend? I felt like it felt a little bigger underneath me than either of my last two hyperlites. Actually reminded me of a Liquid Force Trip. A shop close to me has 08 Liquid Force PS3's for $140. I'm tempted...

The fin extensions come in 2.5", 1.5", and none.

That is good to know. I don't know how many times I landed on the top of the other side of the wake only to feel that shock of the landing going through my knees and back.

The description of the board's soft landings don't do it justice. The landings are unbelieveable.

molded fins don't count, you cant take them off. I was talking about removable fins whatever fins that are removable on the board they take off.

ok, thanks. I am not that good. I just finally jumped the wake this year, but I only learned to wakeboard last year.
